Brandenburg - Travel Enduro Tour: Gritting Sandbox

Offroad hike south of the capital

Already hundreds of years ago, the Mark Brandenburg was affectionately and mockingly referred to as "the Holy Roman Empire's gritting sandbox".

The sandy, barren soil in Brandenburg, on which extensive pine, birch and heather cultures thrive. This is typical and characterizes this state. It thus encloses the federal capital.

Sand - that is the keyword for this tour. Our tour leads through the beautiful forest and heathland landscape of Brandenburg on mostly sandy ground, but also on forest paths, gravel roads and small asphalt roads.

On three extended day tours we enjoy wonderful, untouched landscapes.

There is always something to discover along the way: medieval castles, idyllic lakes that invite you to take a bath, the highest elevation in Brandenburg, the geographical center of the former DDR or the experience of leaving a village and suddenly finding yourself in the middle of a deep sand runway. In the evening, regional delicacies await us in the garden of our base hotel.
