Via secondary routes and rare main roads, it goes to Torun, the city of Copernicus, whose old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are warmly welcomed in our first 3-star hotel and experience Polish hospitality for the first time. We then enjoy dinner after our relaxing walk in the picturesque old town.
Day 3: Approx. 300 km
After our rich breakfast we continue north-east. We first drive along low-traffic rural roads to Dzialdowo, where we enjoy our contemplative lunch on the market square. Little by little, the asphalt strips are becoming more and more curvy and spectacular. We drive along side routes into the "green lung of Poland". A short time later we reach our beautiful base hotel in the heart of the Masuria. (4 nights)
Day 4: Approx. 160 km
Right in the morning after our delicious breakfast, we trade our motorcycles for two kayaks to enjoy the impressive landscape from the water on the Krutyn. With a little luck, we can spot one of the rare kingfishers. After our lunch we start with the curve swing. We discover the Mazury with our motorcycles. On the way there are numerous opportunities to stop for a swim at one of the wonderful lakes.
Day 5:
Today we can take it easy. This day is free and we have the opportunity to explore special sights on our own. Your tour guide will definitely have one or two interesting tips in store. How about e.g. with a steamer trip on one of the numerous lakes or a visit to the nearby historical Wolfsschanze? Those who want to treat themselves to a day off and completely do without motorcycling will find plenty of opportunities to enjoy their stay in the hotel or go for a walk in the city.
Day 6: Approx. 200 km
After a lavish and extensive breakfast, we drive on sweeping country roads through the beautiful Masurian hills. In the afternoon we go further and further north on branch lines. In Swieta Lipka (Holy Linden) we will visit the 17th century Jesuit monastery. An impressive basilica that is still one of the most important baroque religious buildings in Poland. The hourly organ playing is no less impressive. Then we can make a detour to Kadzidlowo. A Masurian village that is now an open air museum. Here we have the opportunity to get to know the old Masurian village life on a guided tour.
Day 7: Approx. 300 km
Today we leave the Mazury and drive west to Gdansk. On the way we stop in Malbork (Marienburg) to visit the impressive castle complex of the German order of knights. Between 1309 and 1454 this complex served as the seat of the knights of the Teutonic Order and is still considered the largest brick building in Europe. We will spend the next two nights in Gdansk.
Day 8:
Today a special highlight awaits us, the visit to the old town of Gdansk. Even long-distance travelers will be impressed by this city. Our professional tour guide will bring us so close to the city that we will remember it for a very long time. After lunch you have the rest of the day at leisure. For example, you can take a steamer trip to the Westerplatte, explore the city on your own and buy souvenirs, or relax on one of the numerous bathing beaches in the area.
Day 9: Approx. 330 km
Today we reach our hotel in Stargard via a varied mix of side routes and winding main roads through Kashubian Switzerland. With one or the other beer we enjoy dinner again and at the same time review a wonderful tour.
